Bezpieczeństwo i zagrożenia w turystyce

The article presents the problem of the relation between security in international tourism and threats that in a significant way determine its level. In the discussion such areas of safety and risk were considered which are in close connection, such as the natural environment, political and religious as well as legal and health issues. Also the dimensions of security in some regions of the world are shown, giving examples of tourist areas (including countries) which have a high, medium and low security level including determinants of this state of affairs. The issues are discussed based on a review of literature as well as the authors’ own experiences and observations.

Artykuł podejmuje problematykę zależności zachodzących pomiędzy bezpieczeństwem w turystyce międzynarodowej i zagrożeniami, które w doniosły sposób warunkują jego poziom. Przedmiotem rozważań uczyniono takie aspekty obszarów bezpieczeństwa i zagrożeń pozostające w ścisłym związku, jak otoczenie naturalne, polityczno-religijne, prawne i zdrowotne. Zaprezentowano również wymiary bezpieczeństwa w wybranych regionach świata podając przykłady obszarów turystycznych (w tym państw) odznaczających się wysokim, średnim i niskim poziomem bezpieczeństwa łącznie z uwarunkowaniami tego stanu rzeczy. Omawiając zagadnienie, oparto się na przeglądzie literatury tematu oraz doświadczeniach i obserwacjach własnych.
