Zasłanianie zwierzęcej śmierci. Refleksje na marginesach książek Bernda Heinricha

Books by Bernd Heinrich became very popular literature describing basic rules of functioning of ecosystems. Heinrich describes also working routine of scientists who try to discover those rules. In Heinrich’s writings, I note however a very visible link – which can be defined as covering animals’ death. In my text I try to unmask this fact. I also debate why this method of hiding animals’ death by using euphemisms and understatements is performed.
