Providing representatives of national and ethnic minorities with multilingual education
The article presents the approach implemented in Poland to provide representatives of national and ethnic minorities with multilingual education. This issue is integral to both education and minority policies. The basic principle is that the school, at the request of parents, is obliged to provide students with the maintenance of their sense of national, ethnic, linguistic and religious identity, in particular the study of language and their own history and culture.
