The aim of the article is to discuss the main aspects of celebrating customs in Polish families. The intention of the publication is to show their role in the process of education in faith. The considerations undertaken are interdisciplinary in nature. As part of the issues of family sciences, the reflection combines pedagogical and theological approaches. The analysis of the issue is based on the literature on the subject and on data from empirical research.
