The purpose of this publication is to assess the effectiveness of public debt management in a local government unit, and in particular the development of the individual debt ratio of a selected unit. The conclusions were formulated on the basis of figures contained in the budget implementation reports, budget and financial reports regulating debt issues in local government units in the years 2022-2026.
