P100 wave amplitude and peak time in visual evoked potentials during pre-test, post-test, and retention test of stroboscopic training.
The database pertains to experimental research aimed at investigating the effects of a six-week stroboscopic training program on the visual pathway conductivity in elite handball players, specifically in relation to their processing of retinal location and viewing conditions. In this study, 22 handball players were randomly assigned to either an experimental or control group. Both groups performed handball-specific tasks in-situ, but only the experimental group underwent stroboscopic training. The participants were evaluated three times using visually evoked potential recordings, which measured P100 implicit time and amplitude under three viewing conditions (dominant eye, non-dominant eye, and binocular) and two retinal locations (extra-foveal and foveal vision) before and after the six-week training period, and again four weeks later.
