Database from the study investigating allocation decisions following instances of unfair treatment in social interactions. The research compares allocations in the first and second interactions after unfair treatment, involving encounters with the wrongdoer and a third, unrelated person.
The Database includes 680 observations. The following variables are included:

The study employed an experimental design and was conducted online. Initially treated unfairly in a dictator game (30% / 70% split), participants subsequently played the dictator role twice. In the first interaction, some had the chance to reciprocate to the wrongdoer, while others could only transfer the unfairness to a new person. In the second interaction, participants interacted with either a new person or the individual who treated them unfairly initially (depending on experimental conditions).
