The set contains anonimized data from qualitative research focused on the exploration of the EDITRANSOR phenomenon - Transformation of Employee-Driven Innovation (EDI) into Organiztional Routine (OR).

The data is based on narratives of the interviewees, who constituted primary source of information. The primary data consists of transcribed interviews. Due to confidentiality agreements, the primary data cannot be revealed.

The interviewees were employed in 2 companies, named for the reasearch purpose as: the Building Company (BC) and the Food Company (FC). The BC operates in fields as road, bridge, hydrotechnical construction, railway and aviation infrastructure. Their primary unit of business is contract; approximate number of employees was 5 000 in 2023. The BCEDI-programme enables employees to submit ideas for incremental improvements, as well as for innovations on a broader scale. The FC was established as private-owned enterprise in 1989, began production in 2004 and was acquired in 2023 by German food production company. The company employs around 2 500 people and operates four production facilities in Poland.

The interviewees represented different areas of work. All of them were involved in the EDI transformation into OR, although in different roles.

The unit of analysis was single implemented EDI that transformed into organizational routine. Employees chose which example of such EDI transformed into OR they wanted to describe and discuss.

The set relies on 14 individual semi-structured interviews conducted in May 2022 (BC) and in May 2023 (FC). Each interview lasted approximately 60 minutes.

The set also contains data from secondary sources of information: (1) delivered by the organization and (2) publicly available (online).

All the materials (primary and seconday sources) were analysed using MaxQDA2022 software.

Attached you will find 2 documents: interview in Polish and table with anonimized information on interviewees (containing their work area, job post and sex).
