The dataset includes data from the electrophysiological study on rat spinal motoneurons. The aim of the study was to investigate whether weight-lifting training evoked adaptive changes in Ia afferent synaptic transmission from muscle spindles to motoneurons.
Files contain: rat body and muscle mass of the medial gastrocnemius, lateral gastrocnemius and soleus muscles, and motoneuron passive membrane properties and characteristics of monosynaptic EPSPs (from homonymous and heteronymous synergistic muscles) recorded intracellularly.
