Cooperation between blind people and guide dogs. Cultural and social determinants of the interspecies relationship

The project aims to explore how visually impaired people build cooperation and communication with guide dogs. Equally important is to identify the cultural and social determinants and consequences of this relationship. The study includes the different actors in the guide dog training process and focus on their interactions and dependencies. In addition to regular and in-depth meetings with visually impaired people, the project invites guide dog trainers, puppy raisers dealing with dogs during the first period of training, representatives of NGOs training and donating guide dogs.
