Database from the study investigating allocation decisions following instances of generous, fair and unfair treatment

Database from the second study study investigating how fair, generous, and unfair treatment impact subsequent financial decisions.

The Database includes 324 observations. The following variables are included:

• sex - indicating participant's sex [1=woman;2=man]
• year of birth
• EXPERIMENTAL CONDITION [1 = fair; 2 = generous, 3 = unfair]
• propensity to donate [coded: 1-yes; 2-no]
• amount donated to charity

The study employed an experimental design and was conducted online. During the study, participants received an unfair/fair or generous share of resources (depending on experimental conditions) and subsequently decided whether to support a charity.
