Polityczne i kulturowe aspekty szehity w Polsce

W artykule przedstawiono problem bezpieczeństwa kulturowego i religijnego społeczności żydowskiej w Polsce, opisany przez pryzmat fundamentalnej dla Żydów tradycji kaszrut (kuchni koszernej), ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sugerowanej w tytule problematyki szehity (religijnego uboju zwierząt). W tekście opisano znaczenie tradycji religijnej w kształtowaniu więzi społecznych Żydów, religijne konteksty szehity, omówiono miejsce szehity w piśmiennictwie religijnym oraz komentarze religijne. W dalszej części artykułu przedstawione zostały dzieje szehity w Polsce na tle polskiego ustawodawstwa i relacji międzykulturowych. Ostatnia część artykułu dotyczy współczesności po przemianach politycznych 1989 r., w tym sporów politycznych na tle legalności konstytucyjnej zgodności religijnego uboju zwierząt.

The article present the problem of cultural and religious security, of Jewish community in Poland, described by the prism of kashrut's (kosher kitchen) tradition which is fundamental for Jewry and for which particular is shehita (religious/ritual slaughter). In the text was described how important is the religious tradition in the formation of social relations, religious contexts of shehita, was discussed the place of shehita in religious literature and comments. Later, in the article the auctor shows in diachronic perpective the history of shehita in Poland on the background of Polish legislation and multicultural relations. The last part of this article applies to the present day after political transformations of 1989, taking into account the constitutional legality and compatibility of religious slaughter of animals.
