W artykule przedstawiono ideę teksturowania laserowego, autorski podział oraz schematy ideowe różnych tekstur. Przedstawiono wybrane przykłady technologiczne zastosowania teksturowania laserowego w areologii na przykładzie żeliwa szarego EN-GJL300 i stopu aluminium ENAW-2618A (PA31). Przedstawiono również kierunki rozwoju teksturowania w areologii i tribologii.
