Ferroresonance Phenomenon in Power Plant Auxiliary Grids

The paper discusses the problem of the ferroresonance phenomenon occurring in a medium voltage grid with an ungrounded neutral point of the supply transformer. Results of a study of ferroresonance in the auxiliary grid at Żarnowiec Pumped Storage Power Plant are presented. Analysis of the study results has led to the development and implementation of an effective method of preventing the adverse ferroresonance phenomenon.

W artykule przybliżono problem zjawiska ferrorezonansu występującego w sieciach średnich napięć, pracujących z nieuziemionym punktem neutralnym transformatora zasilającego. Zaprezentowane zostały wyniki badań zjawiska ferrorezonansu w sieci potrzeb własnych na terenie Elektrowni Szczytowo-Pompowej Żarnowiec. Efektem przeprowadzonych analiz wyników badań było opracowanie i wdrożenie skutecznego sposobu eliminacji niekorzystnego zjawiska ferrorezonansu.
