Korepetycje jako zjawisko społeczne

Zjawisko korepetycji istnieje w Polsce od dawna, jednak wraz z upowszechnieniem społeczeństwa wiedzy, wzrostem znaczenia wykształcenia w świadomości społecznej oraz wprowadzeniem egzaminowania zewnętrznego zjawisko to znacznie się nasiliło. Powszechność korepetycji świadczy o dysfunkcji polskiej szkoły oraz o pogłębiających się nierównościach społecznych. Pomimo skali tego zjawiska ani władze oświatowe, ani politycy nie dostrzegają bądź udają, że nie widzą problemu. Ponadto, w artykule zasygnalizowane zostały najistotniejsze przyczyny i skutki korepetycji.

The phenomenon of tutoring has existed in Poland for a long time. However, the development of the knowledge society, the increasing importance of education in social awareness as well as the introduction of external examinations have significantly intensified the private tuition. The universality of tutoring indicates both the dysfunction of Polish school and the deepening social inequalities. Despite the scale of this phenomenon, neither the educational authorities nor politicians realize or see the problem. In addition, the article indicates the most significant causes and effects of tutoring.
