Dojazdy do szkół w województwie wielkopolskim w roku szkolnym 2022/23

Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja skali i kierunków dojazdów do szkół na obszarze województwa wielkopolskiego. Region ten cechuje się na tle pozostałych województw dużą skalą przemieszczeń związanych z realizacją usług edukacyjnych. Szczególnie interesującym miejscem, w którym odnotowuje się najintensywniejsze przemieszczenia, jest aglomeracja poznańska. Niniejsze opracowanie bazuje na danych statystycznych o skali i kierunkach dojazdów do szkół w podziale na szkoły podstawowe i ponadpodstawowe w roku szkolnym 2022/2023 opublikowanych przez Główny Urząd Statystyczny. Przemieszczenia, których celem są szkoły podstawowe i ponadpodstawowe, zdecydowanie różnią się od siebie z uwagi na ich skalę, kierunki i odległość dojazdów, która jest pochodną rozmieszczenia funkcji edukacyjnych.

The goal of the paper is to identify the scale and directions of school commuting in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. Compared to other voivodeships, the region is characterized by a large scale of movements related to the accessibility of educational services. A place where the most intensive movements are noticed is the Poznań agglomeration. The main city of the agglomeration (according to data published by the Statistics Poland) is the second largest destination for school commuters in Poland. Movements to primary and secondary schools differ significantly due to their scale, direction and distance, which is a result of the location of educational functions. Taking these issues into account, the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship is an interesting area of research. The study based on statistical data about the scale and directions of school commuting, divided into primary and secondary schools in the 2022/2023 school year, was published by the Statistics Poland. They were made available in the form of relational tables that could be downloaded from the office’s website. The mentioned data are, in fact, the first such summary of school commuting in the range of communes in Poland. The analyses and research results presented in the paper indicate that school commuting is an important component of daily mobility in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. Urbanized areas are characterized by a particularly large scale of displacement, where school commuting is an indicator of strong functional and spatial connections in the region.
