Historyczne precedensy powojennego duszpasterstwa wojskowego w Polsce (od początku XVIII do połowy XX wieku)

Artykuł w sposób przekrojowy ukazuje – w perspektywie tytułowych precedensów – uwarunkowania funkcjonowania duszpasterstwa wojsk polskich w ZSRR, a następnie w kraju w okresie istnienia duszpasterstwa polowego utworzonego pod dominacją komunistyczną (1943-1991). Omówiono w nim niektóre elementy katolickich duszpasterstw polowych w wybranych krajach od początku XVIII do połowy XX wieku (Prusy, Rosja, Francja, Polska), które składają się na obraz duszpasterstwa mniejszościowej grupy religijnej bądź grupy religijnej tolerowanej w areligijnym systemie państwowym. Dzięki temu wyodrębniono zasadnicze cechy tego duszpasterstwa, które miały swoje odpowiedniki w innych państwach. Charakteryzowały one specyficzny typ organizacji religijnej w siłach zbrojnych, z zasady laickich i ateistycznych, zgodnie z materialistycznym światopoglądem marksistowskim, który w krajach komunistycznych posiadał status religii publicznej.

A cross-sectional article, presenting, in the perspective of the title precedents, the conditions of the functioning of the pastoral ministry of the Polish army in the USSR and later at home during the period of the existence of the field pastoral ministry established under communist domination (1943-1991). The article discusses some elements of Catholic field pastoral ministries in selected countries from the beginning of the eighteenth to the middle of the twentieth century (Prussia, Russia, France, Poland), which together form a picture of pastoral care of a minority religious group or a religious group tolerated in an areligious state system. The distinguished characteristic features of such pastoral ministry had their counterparts in other countries and together formed a specific type of religious organization in the armed forces, essentially secular and atheistic, following the materialist Marxist worldview, which in communist countries had the status of public religion (Translated by Dorota Aszoff).
