Gwałty, kradzieże, morderstwa. Stosunek Armii Czerwonej do Polaków na Pomorzu Zachodnim w latach 1945–1947

Tematem niniejszego artykułu są zbrodnie popełniane przez żołnierzy Armii Czerwonej na Polakach na Pomorzu Zachodnim w latach 1945–1947, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Szczecina. Wybór takich ram czasowych wiąże się z tym, iż we wskazanym okresie sowieckie gwałty, kradzieże oraz morderstwa były szczególnie częste – najwięcej przestępstw popełniono na Pomorzu Zachodnim właśnie w 1945 r., a ich wyraźne ograniczenie stało się zauważalne dopiero od połowy 1947 r. W artykule wykorzystano m.in. materiały komunistycznego aparatu bezpieczeństwa przechowywane w Archiwum Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej w Szczecinie; są one cennym uzupełnieniem dotychczasowej literatury przedmiotu i zawierają wiele szczegółowych informacji, jak też pozwalają pełniej przeanalizować sowieckie zbrodnie w interesującym autora okresie. Sięgnięto również po opublikowane materiały polskiej administracji cywilnej.

This article focuses on the crimes committed by Red Army soldiers against Poles in Western Pomerania between 1945 and 1947, with particular reference to Szczecin. The choice of such a timeframe is related to the occurrence that, in the period indicated, Soviet rapes, thefts and murders were particularly frequent – the greatest number of crimes were committed in Western Pomerania in 1945, and their significant decrease became noticeable only from mid-1947. For research purposes the communist security apparatus records stored in the Archives of the Institute of National Remembrance Branch in Szczecin were analysed as a valuable addition to the existing literature on the subject. In this respect they contain a significant volume of detailed information, as well as allowing for a complete analysis of Soviet crimes during the period of interest to the author. Published material from the Polish civilian administration was also consulted.
