The examinations were made in 623 girls at the age of 10-17 years; 92 of them were infected with T. vaginalis. A comparison was made between infected and non infected girls in the groups with different intensity of estrogenic reactions (laeking, incipient. low, intermediate, high, excessive) using χ² test. A higher incidence of T. vaginalis was found in girls with low, intermediate and high estrogenic reactions, as compared with incipient of excessive estrogenic reaction of the vaginal epithelium. Girls without estrogenic reactions of the vaginal epithelium do not show the presenee of T. vaginalis. The intensity of estrogenic reactions of the vaginal epithelium in girls at puberty is related to the general physical growth and development of secondary sexual features. There is a statistically significant differenee (P< 0.05) between the incidence of mamma type II and IV "uterus virginalis" in the group of infected and non infected girls. On the other hand, no difference exists between these groups so far as the vulvar and axillary hair growth is concerned. The ovulatory cyclces did occur in girls infected with T. vaginalis in 27% of cases, and only in 3% in non infocted ones.
