Rynek wieprzowiny na świecie w warunkach globalizacji

W artykule opisano procesy globalizacji w sektorze rolnym oraz wskazano makroekonomiczne uwarunkowania rozwoju agrobiznesu. Na tym tle zaprezentowano koniunkturę na rynku mięsa wieprzowego oraz dokonano próby projekcji dla wybranych wskaźników charakteryzujących ten rynek. W publikacji wykorzystano polsko- i anglojęzyczną literaturę przedmiotu, w tym opracowania OECD, FAO i Departamentu Rolnictwa Stanów Zjednoczonych (USDA).

The paper describes the processes of globalization in the agricultural sector, and the macroeconomic determinants of the development of agribusiness. Among them are: technology and capital transfer, increase in the concentration and industrialization of the agricultural sector, growing demand for food and high production costs. In this context the situation on the pork market was presented and an attempt was made to project the selected indicators for the market.
