Zmiany w systemie ochrony przyrody w Polsce w latach 1989-2015

Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka i analiza głównych grup zmian, jakie nastąpiły w polskim systemie ochrony przyrody w latach 1989-2015 oraz wskazanie obszarów problemowych, które wymagają dalszej poprawy. W trakcie badań nad przedstawianymi problemami wykorzystano analizę aktów prawnych i danych statystycznych oraz studia literaturowe.

Changes which have taken place in Poland since the political and economic transition of the year 1989 concern many various aspects. One of them is nature protection system. In this case three main kinds of changes may be specified, namely: legal and institutional ones, building ecological consciousness and establishing new forms of nature conservation. Changes in the nature protection systems allow for building a coherent system of nature conservation as well as for the better preservation of biodiversity and natural values. Pro-ecological NGOs in Poland are more active – that also may be a sign of rising ecological consciousness. The control of investment process is getting stronger as well. However, some questions related to nature protection still require improvement.
