Ocena szans kreacji transgranicznego produktu turystycznego Dolne Łużyce

The aim of the article is to evaluate the possibility of creating cross-border tourism product on the PolishGerman border based on natural, cultural and historical heritage of Lower Lusatia region. In 1945 Lower Lusatia was divided between Poland and Germany what led to disintegration processes and different directions of development on both sides of Lusatian Neisse. The chance for common tourism product policy emerged after 1989. But there are still conflicts of interest, coordination problems and difficulties in creating a consistent vision of its development. The article describes phenomena and processes that affect the directions of regional tourism development in Lower Lusatia as well as the impact of EU funds on the development of cross-border tourism and creating consistent tourism product of a spatial character. The studies have a diagnostic purpose consisting of determining the actual state and explaining regularities that are forming it. There will be attempts to determine the course of further development of cross-border tourism product in Lower Lusatia based on the diagnosis of actual state.

Celem artykułu jest ocena możliwości stworzenia transgranicznego produktu turystycznego na pograniczu polsko-niemieckim w oparciu o dziedzictwo przyrodnicze, kulturowe oraz historyczne regionu Łużyc Dolnych. Ten jednolity pierwotnie obszar został rozdzielony w 1945 roku polsko-niemiecką linią graniczną. Efektem były procesy dezintegracyjne i różne kierunki rozwoju terenów po obu stronach Nysy Łużyckiej. Po 1989 roku pojawiła się możliwość prowadzenia wspólnej polityki w zakresie produktu turystycznego. Jednak nadal występują konflikty interesów, problemy z koordynacją działań i trudności w stworzeniu harmonijnej wizji rozwoju na obszarze transgranicznym. W artykule opisano zjawiska i procesy mające wpływ na kierunki regionalnego rozwoju turystyki na obszarze Łużyc Dolnych. Uwzględniony zostanie także wpływ funduszy unijnych na rozwój turystyki transgranicznej i na tworzenie jednolitego produktu turystycznego o charakterze przestrzennym. Badania mają cel diagnostyczny, polegający na ustaleniu stanu faktycznego i wyjaśnieniu prawidłowości ten stan kształtujących. W oparciu o diagnozę istniejącego stanu rzeczy podjęto będzie próba ustalenia przebiegu dalszego rozwoju transgranicznego produktu turystycznego na obszarze Łużyc Dolnych.
