Korelacja prawdy i wolności w ujęciu Karola Wojtyły

The article consists of three parts. The first one focuses on the location of truth in the notion of freedom in the aspect of genetical reason, indicating their interaction given in human experience. Next part tries to answer to a question about the role of truth in the realization of freedom, showing its motivating and regulating functions. The last part seeks to resolve a problem of the final end of the truthfreedom interaction, pointing at the ultimate task of freedom, i.e. to realize the truth about human being. The undertaken attempt of explaining human freedom by its correlation with truth is realized by the method of classical philosophy. Such a convention demands to indicate all ultimate reasons of what is given to be interpreted. Also human freedom does obtain its proper understanding only in a perspective of its efficient, formal and material (pattern), and final reasons. On the ground of all these analyses it is possible to justify the following conclusions: (1) freedom and tuth create the necessary correlation; (2) freedom and truth refer to the dynamic nature of human being; (3) freedom ultimately realizes itself in realizing the truth about human being.
