Senior social activity and architectural barriers

Ludzie starsi stanowią bardzo liczną grupę społeczną, która doświadcza wielu nieprzychylnych postaw ze strony młodszych pokoleń. Jednak trudna sytuacja osób starszych warunkowana jest nie tylko niechęcią otoczenia, ale również licznymi barierami, które utrudniają seniorom podejmowanie aktywności społecznej oraz ograniczają prawidłowe funkcjonowanie w środowisku zamieszkania.

Older people represent a very large social group that has suffered many unfavorable attitudes on the part of the younger generation. However, the difficult situation of the elderly is not only conditioned by aversion of the environment, but also by numerous barriers that hinder seniors taking up social activities and limit the proper functioning in the living environment.
