The Future Nows: Planning and Ethical Co-Responsibility in Designing New Technologies

The article presents the issue of ethical projects of the future in terms of new technologies. Starting with the relational and structural ontology of time, the author discusses its epistemology which consequently leads him to the conclusion concerning the role of ethics as a tool necessary to hermeneutical finding out the appropriate, thus good and aesthetically favourable, future. The philosophical reasoning enables the author to justify the future as a present element of the now, which is increasingly associated by the society with the relation resulting from the morally engaged discourse.

Artykuł przedstawia zagadnienie etycznych projektów przyszłości w aspekcie nowych technologii. Wychodząc z relacyjno-strukturalnej ontologii czasu, dyskutowana jest jego epistemologia, co w konsekwencji prowadzi do konkluzji o roli etyki jako narzędzia koniecznego do hermeneutycznego poznania właściwej, a więc dobrej i estetycznie korzystnej przyszłości. Argumentacja filozoficzna pozwala uzasadnić przyszłość jako obecny element teraźniejszości, z którym społeczeństwo coraz częściej łączy związek wynikający z zaangażowanego moralnie dyskursu.
