Polish cavalry is one of the most famous in the history of the world military. Its splendour did not extinguish in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Between the First and second World War, the cavalry tradition was cultivated in Poland. Then the best sabre of all time was created - the Polish sabre model 1934 also called ‘Ludwikówka’. This weapon combined the tradition and the latest trends. The process of its production, selection and use was special. This sabre passed into legend as the last Polish fighting sabre used by Polish soldiers during the Second World War. The legend of this weapon cannot be forgotten. For this reason, it was decided to bring the genesis of its origin, process of execution, quality control and implementation into the army.
