Żołnierze w szpitalu] [Dokument ikonograficzny

Fotografia przedstawia pięciu młodych mężczyzn leżących na szpitalnych łóżkach oraz trzech młodych żołnierzy w czapkach wojskowych z orzełkiem stojących u wezgłowia łóżek. Według właściciela zdjęcia przedstawia ono szpital w Wilnie i przebywających w nim strzelców. Na odwrocie zdjęcia inskrypcja: "(...) Pamiątka ze szpitala - Wilno 13.V.35 r."

Zdjęcie przesłane na konkurs "Fotografia polskiej wsi" do 1948 roku, organizowany w 1983 r. przez kwartalnik "Fotografia" i tygodnik "Nowa Wieś". Odbitka zdjęcia przechowywana w Instytucie Archeologii i Etnologii PAN (dawniej Instytut Historii Kultury Materialnej)

The photo depicts five young men lying in hospital beds and three young soldiers in military hats with the eagle emblem standing at the tops of beds. According to the photo's owner, it depicts a hospital in Vilnius and shooters who were staying in it. On the back of the photo there is the following inscription: "(...) A souvenir from the hospital - Vilnius 13.V.35"

The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
