Zdjęcie wielopokoleniowej rodziny. Na środku na krzesłach siedzą dziadkowie, a za nimi stoi małżeństwo w średnim wieku z trzema dorosłymi córkami, z których dwie leża na trawie, oraz małym dzieckiem siedzącym u dziadków na kolanach. The photo shows a multigenerational family. Grandparents are sitting on chairs in the middle, behind them a middle-aged married couple are standing with three grown-up daughters (of which two are laying in the grass) and a baby sitting on grandparent’s laps. There is an inscription on the back of the photo: “my parents and us children,1929”; photo taken in Starce Village, Sieradz voivodeship in 1929

The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture).
