The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)

The photo depicts an elderly man in festive dress, i. a. knickerbockers, knee-length socks, a tie and a cap. The man holds a hand of a boy in short trousers, a white cap and a tie. A park and some benches are visible in a background. Apparent from the description of the owner of the photo it was taken in the village of Horyniec-Zdrój [a spa]

Fotografia przedstawia starszego mężczyznę w odświętnym stroju, m.in. spodnie typu pumpy, podkolanówki, krawat i czapka. Mężczyzna trzyma za rękę chłopca w krótkich spodenkach, białej czapce i również w krawacie. W tle widać park z ławkami. Z opisu właściciela zdjęcia wynika, iż zostało ono wykonane we wsi Horyniec-Zdrój
