The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture)

Zdjęcie przedstawia dwie kobiety, młodsza i starsza w fartuchu, siedzące na trawie z małą dziewczynką. Dziewczynka (około 2 lat) trzyma na kolanach kota. W tle widać dom i siatkę porośniętą bluszczem. Na odwrocie zdjęcia inskrypcja : "z Djęcie cioci męża kuzynki z dzieckiem Halle niemcy z roku 1931" (pisownia oryginalna)

The photo depicts two women, a younger and an older one in an apron, sitting on the grass with a small girl. The girl (about 2 years old) is holding a cat on her lap. A house and a net covered with ivy are visible in a background.There is an inscription on the back of the photo: “Photo of the husband’s cousin’s aunt with a child.
