The photo depicts a man in a forester’s uniform, a woman in dark clothes sitting in a chair and a boy standing next to her. Both are elegantly dressed. According to the photo owner’s account, these are her great-grandparents: forester Jan [John] (…) with his wife Anna [Anne] and son Alek [Alec]

The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
