The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). All the gathered people are dressed in festive costumes, mostly in dark colors. Behind them you can see a tall, carved furniture, the walls are with dark patterned wallpaper. In the ceiling hangs a decorative lamp with glass shade. In the left corner of the room is a very nice, original tiled stove with a rich ornamentation and decorationsbetween two baskets of flowers which sit alongside two other girls in sailor suits. Fotografia przedstawia liczną rodzinę pozującą do zdjęcia w bogato urządzonym pokoju. W pierwszym rzędzie klęczy dziewczynka w białej sukience pomiędzy dwoma koszami kwiatów obok których siedzą jeszcze dwie dziewczynki w marynarskich ubrankach. Wszyscy zgromadzeni ludzie ubrani są w odświętne stroje, przeważnie w ciemnych kolorach. Za nimi widać wysoki, rzeźbiony mebel, na ścianach jest ciemna, wzorzysta tapeta. U sufitu wisi ozdobna lampa ze szklanym kloszem. W lewym kącie pokoju stoi bardzo ładny, oryginalny piec kaflowy z bogatą ornamentyką i zdobieniami
