Fotografia przedstawia kilkudziesięcioosobową grupę dzieci wraz z nauczycielami pozujących do zdjęcia przed udekorowanym girlandą wejściem do szkoły. Zarówno dzieci, jak i nauczyciele ubrani są w odświętne stroje. Dzieci trzymają w dłoniach kartki skierowane w stronę obiektywu (świadectwa szkolne?). Wiele dziewczynek ma włosy przewiązane białymi wstążkami zawiązanymi na czubku głowy w kokardę. Budynek przed którym pozują uczniowie to okazała, murowana budowla

Na odwrocie zdjęcia inskrypcja: 1947, zakończenie roku szkolnego w Kręgu. Szkoła prowadzona przez W. (...), działacza ludowego SL, ZSL.

The photograph shows a group of several dozen children and teachers posing for a picture in the front of an entrance to the school decorated with a garland. Both children and teachers are dressed in festive costumes. Children hold the cards in his hands facing toward the lens (school certificates?). Many of the girls has their hairs tied with white ribbons tied on top of their heads in a bow. The building in front of which it pupils are posing is an impressive brick building

On the back of the photo there is an inscription: 1947, end of the school year in Krąg. The school is conducted by W. (...), a folk activist of SL [People’s Party], ZSL [Union People’s Party]

The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
