The photograph shows a young, pretty woman with a kerchief tied on her head sitting on a small white bench with a child on her lap. The woman is wearing a long, elegant dress and black shoes with a strap. A child with short, very blonde hair is dressed in a dark gown and stockings. The little girl holds in one hand a longitudinal envelope and in the other a wicker basket. They are sitting against the background of a wooden gate and whitewashed walls of a house

According to the account of the owner of a photo it shows her at the age of 3-5 years. It was taken at a gate in a yard near a house of her grandmother

Fotografia przedstawia młodą, ładną kobietę z zawiązaną chustką na gawie siedzącą na małej, białej ławce z dzieckiem na kolanach. Kobieta ma na sobie długą, elegancką sukienkę i czarne buciki z paskiem. Dziecko z krótkimi, bardzo jasnymi włosami ubrane jest w ciemne ubranko i pończochy. Dziewczynka trzyma w jednej ręce podłużną kopertę a w drugiej wiklinowy koszyczek. Pozujące do zdjęcia osoby siedzą na tle drewnianej furtki i pobielonej ściany domu

Na odwrocie zdjęcia znajduje się inskrypcja: Czy ładny chłopaczuś ze mnie. To również jestem ja z Matką, przy starym Babci domku a raczej przy furtce na podwórko, lat 3 rok 1926, Żakowice Nowe

Według właścicielki zdjęcia przedstawia ono ją w wieku 3-5 lat. Zostało zrobione przy furtce na podwórku koło domu jej babci

The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
