According to the owner it is a photo of her cousin’s wedding in the village of Przybysław. The donor’s mother is the first woman from the left in the second row. The donor herself is seated in front of the bride

The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)

The photo shows the newlyweds and their wedding guests posing for the photo in front of a high brick wall. In the middle of the front row the young couple is sitting and to their right the priest. The bride is dressed in a white dress with a veil. On a top of the veil she is wearing a wreath of myrtle-tree twigs. She is holding a bouquet of flowers. The groom is wearing a black suit and a white shirt and a bow is pinned onto a lapel of the suit. The rest of the guests are dressed elegantly. Most of the men are dressed in dark suits, white shirts and bow-ties or ties. On the ground in front of the young couple, two girls and a boy are sitting. The girl in the middle is wearing a white dress and has a cockade-shaped ribbon inserted into her hair

Według właścicielki zdjęcia przedstawia ono ślub kuzynki we wsi Przybysław. Matka darczyni, Rozalia (…) stoi jako pierwsza od lewej strony w drugim rzędzie a ona sama siedzi przed panną młodą

Fotografia przedstawia młodą parę oraz gości weselnych pozujących do zdjęcia na tle ceglanej wysokiej ściany. W pierwszym rzędzie pośrodku siedzą nowożeńcy, a po ich lewej stronie ksiądz. Panna młoda ubrana jest w białą suknię z welonem, na który założony ma wianek z gałązek mirtowych. W dłoniach trzyma bukiet. Pan młody ma na sobie czarny garnitur i białą koszulę, a w klapę wpiętą ma kokardkę. Reszta gości weselnych ubrana jest w odświętną, elegancką odzież. Większość mężczyzn ma ciemne garnitury, białe koszule i muszki lub krawaty. Przed młodą parą na ziemi siedzą dwie dziewczynki i chłopiec. Jedna z dziewczynek, siedząca pośrodku, ubrana jest w białą sukienkę i ma we włosach dużą, białą kokardę
