The photo depicts two young women sitting on grass. One of them has her hair braided in two plaits; the other one is wearing a kerchief. There are some wooden buildings in the background. According to the photo’s owner, it depicts her nieces – Irena (…) and Zofia (…)

The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Fotografia przedstawia dwie młode dziewczyny siedzące na trawie. Jedna z nich ma włosy splecione w dwa warkocze, druga chustkę na głowie. W tle widać drewniane zabudowania. Według właściciela zdjęcia przedstawia ono siostrzenice – Irenę (...) i Zofię (...)
