From the outset, the Polish model of impact assessment (IA) has been based on direct and indirect dialogue between national institutions which deal with regulatory reform and international and foreign entities promoting the evidence-based law-making model. Tis chapter presents the most interesting solutions and good practices relating to the IA process in countries with the greatest and most extensive experience in this feld. Each system and operational solution is described and subjected to critical analysis, with particular attention to their potential for use in Poland.
