The script as a mirror of the developing standard German on the basis of the graphemic analysis of the vocalism in a village charter from the 17th century

The article presents the language analysis of a German village charter from 17th century, which comes from the volume Archiwum Komisji Prawniczej/Tom XI (Archive Law Committee/ Volume XI) published in 1936. The scribe of the text is unknown. The aim of the article is to answer the question how far the script fixes the features of the spoken language. The author introduces the results of his analysis showing the characteristic features with the appropriate examples.
