New ext=hibiting strategies? : hacking the Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum in Krakow

Celem artykułu jest omówienie interwencji kuratorskiej MOJE MUZEUM, MUZEUM O MNIE: czyli do kogo należy spuścizna polskiej wsi? Kuratorskie sny w Muzeum Etnograficznym im. Seweryna Udzieli w Krakowie, przygotowanej w czerwcu 2017 roku przez zespół kuratorek z Wydziału Polonistyki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Zawiera omówienie tego projektu z perspektywy rozwijających się współcześnie trendów w światowym muzealnictwie, przede wszystkim idei muzealnego hackingu. Podporą teoretyczną rozważań są: Prześniona rewolucja. Ćwiczenie z logiki historycznej Andrzeja Ledera, Curatorial Dreams: Critics Imagine Exhibitions autorstwa Eriki Lehrer i Shelley Ruth Butler oraz Muzeum krytyczne Piotra Piotrowskiego.

The objective of this article is to discuss the curatorial intervention MY MUSEUM, A MUSEUM ABOUT ME: or, Who Owns the Legacy of the Polish Village? Curatorial Dreams for the Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum in Kraków prepared in June 2017 by a team of curators from the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. I will discuss this project in the light of contemporary trends in museology, especially in the context of the idea of museum hacking. The theoretical support for my reflections comes, among others, from the following books: Prześniona rewolucja.
