Komentarze do biopolityk : polityka (pro)rodzinna w powojennej prasie kobiecej
The article is aimed at answering the question of how actively and effectively women’s press editors responded to the turns in Polish post-war natalist policy, and whether they tried to play an active role in the public discourse of the era. I understand biopolitics as ac- tions and strategies of modern dictatorship for controlling the population, among others, in the context of fertility decline, modern birth control or practices related to motherhood and fatherhood. I analyze the frequency of publications on the subject, the formula and structure of the narratives as well as the presence of expert statements.
