Aggression and violence among adolescent girls. Group diversity

Niniejsza praca dotyczy zjawiska agresji i przemocy wśród dorastających dziewcząt w aspekcie zróżnicowania środowiskowego. Została ona podzielona na trzy zasadnicze części: teoretyczną, która swym zakresem obejmuje przegląd literatury przedmiotu, metodologiczną, na którą składają się założenia prowadzonych badań oraz empiryczną, zawierającą rezultaty badań oraz analizę zebranego materiału badawczego. Część pierwsza składa się z dwóch rozdziałów, które stanowią tło dla zagadnień związanych z tematyką agresji i przemocy, roli gimnazjum w systemie edukacji oraz programów profilaktycznych z zakresu agresji i przemocy. Rozdział trzeci zawiera prezentację metodologii badań własnych: cel, przedmiot oraz zakres badań; problemy i hipotezy badawcze; metody, techniki i narzędzia badawcze; charakterystykę próby badawczej, terenu, organizacji i przebiegu badań. W części empirycznej, na którą składają się czwarty i piąty rozdział, zaprezentowano otrzymane wyniki badań własnych oraz dokonano ich jakościowej i ilościowej analizy. Ich przedmiotem są cechy badanej młodzieży i środowisk szkolnych oraz próba ukazania wpływu zjawiska agresji i przemocy występującego w szkole na jej postrzeganie przez badane uczennice. W ostatnim, szóstym rozdziale dokonano syntezy przeprowadzonych badań oraz podjęto próbę sformułowania postulatów pedagogicznych.

The present thesis pertains to the phenomenon of aggression and violence among adolescent girls in the view of group diversity. The thesis consists of the following three main parts: the theoretical one which comprises the overview of subject literature; the methodological one which includes the assumptions of the conducted research and the empirical one which presents the results of the research and the analysis of the research material. The first part comprises two chapters which constitute the theoretical background to the issues related to aggression and violence, the role of junior high school in the education system and preventive programs on aggression and violence. Chapter Three includes the presentation of own research methodology: the aim, subject and scope of the research; problems and research hypotheses; the methods, techniques and tools of research; the description of the community sample, as well as the area, organization and course of research. The empirical part, i.e. chapters Four and Five, presents the results of own research and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results. The subject of research refers to the features of the studied teenagers and school groups, as well as to the attempt to present the influence of aggression and violence in school on the girls undergoing the research. The last Chapter Six presents the synthesis of the conducted research and the attempt to define the pedagogical postulates.
