The preparedness of six years old children to attend school in rural school and kindergarten in the face of a new core curriculum

The subject of my project is the preparedness of six years old children to attend school in rural school and kindergarten in the face of a new core curriculum. I did the research with six years old children attending the Primary School in Brzezna, Litacz and children from the the Communal Kindergarten in Brzezna. The aim of my project was to get information about the preparedness of six years old children to attend school. Those information let me improve my work as a teacher and get the knowledge useful in the work of the future first class teacher. I effectuated three tests that checked the preparedness of children to attend school. The tests were embedded in:•sheet containing the research of preparedness to attend school,•sheet containing the observation of childrens` features of development,•the research of preparedness to attend school SGS.I asked also the teachers of both outposts about the development of six years old children and their preparedness to attend school, I also sent the questionnaire to the parents of the examined children.In the project I included the answer to the question: what is the preparedness of six years old children to attend school in rural school and kindergarten in the face of a new core curriculum?With details I described what the level of emotional, social, physical and mental development is in the examined children, and also what is the level of their preparedness to learn Maths, writing and reading. In my project I also described the cooperation of the school and the kindergarten with family orphanage in the field of supporting the preparedness to attend school, and I showed what actions are taken by the outposts to help their fosterlings in their better start at the beginning of school.I also described what the predispositions of preparedness to attend school are, according to the teachers, what helps and what disturbs in getting it.

Tematem mojej pracy jest gotowość szkolna dzieci sześcioletnich w wiejskiej szkole i przedszkolu w obliczu reformy i nowej podstawy programowej. Badałam dzieci sześcioletnie uczęszczające do Szkoły Podstawowej w Brzeznej Litaczu i dzieci z Gminnego Przedszkola w Brzeznej. Celem mojej pracy było zdobycie informacji o gotowości szkolnej dzieci sześcioletnich. Wiadomości te pozwoliły mi udoskonalić swoją pracę jako nauczyciela i zdobyć wiedzę przydatną w pracy z przyszłymi uczniami klasy pierwszej. Przeprowadziłam trzy testy które badały gotowość szkolną uczniów, testy zawarte były w: •arkuszu badania gotowości szkolnej•arkuszu obserwacyjnym cech rozwojowych dzieci•badaniu skali gotowości szkolnej SGSO rozwój dzieci sześcioletnich i ich stopień przygotowania do szkoły pytałam także nauczycieli z obu placówek, oraz skierowałam ankietę do rodziców badanych dzieci. W pracy zawarłam odpowiedź na pytanie jaka jest gotowość dzieci sześcioletnich w wiejskim szkole i przedszkolu w obliczu reformy i nowej podstawy programowej? Opisałam dokładnie na jakim poziomie jest rozwój emocjonalny, społeczny, fizyczny i umysłowy badanych dzieci, a także w jakim stopniu są przygotowani do nauki matematyki i nauki pisania i czytania. W pracy opisałam również jak wygląda współpraca szkoły i przedszkola z domem rodzinnym dziecka w zakresie wspierania gotowości szkolnej, a także przedstawiłam jakie działania podejmują placówki w celu pomocy ich wychowankom w lepszym starcie w klasie pierwszej. Opisałam także, jakie są zdaniem nauczycieli uwarunkowania gotowości szkolnej, co pomaga a co przeszkadza w jej osiągnięciu.
