The main subject is political system and functioning of the Free City of Kraków (1815-1846).The first chapter is presenting historical background associated with the creation of this state. Expressed are here the main principles of the political system and the source of law in the Free City of Krakow.In the second chapter have been described authorities the executive and the legislature.Were presented there, their powers and relationships between them.The third chapter describes the operation of the judiciary and state administration. It also shows the institutions responsible for security in a state.In the fourth chapter are illustrated cause the collapse the Free City of Kraków.Was also made evaluation of the system and the functioning of the state.

Tematem pracy jest ustrój polityczny oraz funkcjonowanie Wolnego Miasta Krakowa (1815 -1846).Najistotniejszymi kwestiami omówionymi w pracy, są struktura organizacyjna, kompetencje i określone prawem wzajemne zależności między organami państwa.Pierwszy rozdział prezentuje tło historyczne związane z okolicznościami powstania tego kraju. Zostały w nim wyrażone główne zasady ustrojowe oraz źródła prawa obowiązującego w Wolnym Mieście Krakowie.W drugim rozdziale scharakteryzowane zostały organy władzy wykonawczej i ustawodawczej. Przedstawione zostały tam ich kompetencje oraz wzajemne relacje między nimi. Trzeci rozdział rozpoczyna się od szerokiego omówienia, działania wymiaru sprawiedliwości. W dalszej części rozdziału zostały opisane administracja państwowa oraz instytucje odpowiedzialne za bezpieczeństwo w kraju.W czwartym rozdziale zostały zilustrowane przyczyny upadku Wolnego Miasta Krakowa. Dokonana została ponadto obszerna ocena ustroju oraz funkcjonowania tego państwa.
