The aim of my master thesis is to investigate a German work reference in a type of the text and submit it to the linguistic analysis. In the first chapter of the theoretical part of my work deals with the term text which is presented here from the linguistic perspective as well as the point of this usage and meaning. Furthermore, I present here the most important characteristic, features of a text and vital lingual functions. The second chapter is concerned with term text genre/ text type examined from a linguistic and colloquial perspective. Apart from that, I show here a division and short characteristic of particular types of a text. Next chapter of the theoretical part are devoted to a detailed characteristic of a German work reference: its structure, formal aspects of drawing up the document, its content, style of language, the phenomenon of a “hidden code” and other types of work references.The practical part deals with the analysis of exemplary German work references as well as the comparison with its polish equivalent. After the conducted analysis I prove that the German work reference belongs to the group of informative texts, fulfilling an informative and advertising function. The main issue of the document is concerned with an employee for whom this document is drawn up. Qualification certificate is the most popular German work reference . All of the analyzed testimonies meet the standards requirements, with respect to their structure and content. Moreover, all the documents have typical expressions and wordings characteristic for this type of a text. However, there is a diversity in employee assessments that makes difference in the document’s quality. After the comparison of a German and Polish testimony we can say that, despite the fact that both there texts are of the same type, the differ admittedly. Polish testimonies are purely formal, however, they resemble German work reference to certain extend. There is no place for a personal employee assessment: the quality of his work, the way he does his duties and his behaviour at the workplace the German work reference, because its form and tone resemble reference to a polish recipient.
Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Thema Das Arbeitszeugnis als Textsorte. Ihr Ziel bestand darin, die Textsorte Arbeitszeugnis einer linguistischen Analyse zu unterziehen.Im theoretischen Teil dieser Arbeit wurde in erster Linie der Textbegriff genauer betrachtet. Es wurde versucht, den Textbegriff zu definieren, was allerdings nicht so einfach war, denn es gibt verschiedene Textdefinitionen. Unter denen sind die linguistische und die alltagssprachliche Bedeutung des Textes von großer Bedeutung. Sie wurden im ersten Kapitel hervorgehoben. In diesem Teil wurde auch das Problem der Textmerkmale und Textfunktionen thematisiert. Auf ähnliche Weise wurden die Textsorten geprüft. Im zweiten Kapitel wurde der Begriff der Textsorten sowohl in der Alltagssprache als auch aus linguistischer Sicht besprochen. Auch die Klassifikation von Textsorten und ihre Einteilung nach bestimmten Kriterien wurde hier genauer analysiert. Im nächsten Punkt wurde das Arbeitszeugnis dargestellt. Dabei wurde auch auf seine Bedeutung hingewiesen. Die rechtlichen Grundlagen und Grundsätze seiner Erstellung wurden ebenso in diesem Kapitel näher betrachtet. Als nächstes Problem dieser Untersuchung wurden die Arten der Arbeitszeugnisse besprochen, insbesondere zwei Hauptarten: das einfache und qualifiziere Arbeitszeugnis. Im letzten Kapitel des theoretischen Teils dieser Arbeit wurde die Zeugnissprache geprüft und beschrieben. Dabei wurde die Lexik und Syntax der Arbeitszeugnisse, sowie die so genannte Geheimsprache der Arbeitszeugnisse angesprochen.Im zweiten, praktischen Teil dieser Auseinandersetzung wurden einige Beispiel - Zeugnisse analysiert. Ihre Bestandteile, Inhalt und Sprache wurden an dieser Stelle geprüft. Der letzte Punkt der Arbeit bildet der Vergleich der erwähnten Zeugnisse mit dem Muster eines polnischen Arbeitszeugnisses, sowie das Erschließen von Unterschieden und Ähnlichkeiten zwischen den Zeugnissen beider Sprachen.Nach den durchgeführten Analysen konnte man bemerken, dass diese beiden Texte, obwohl sie zu der gleichen Textsorte gehören, unterschiedlich sind. Das polnische Arbeitszeugnis hat einen rein formalen Charakter, man könnte es, wegen seiner Ähnlichkeit der deutschen Arbeitsbescheinigung zuordnen. Im polnischen Zeugnis gibt es keinen Platz für die Beschreibung der durch den Arbeitnehmer ausgeübten Tätigkeit, sowie die Leistungs- und Verhaltensbeurteilung, die das deutsche Zeugnis beinhaltet. Andererseits erinnert das deutsche Arbeitszeugnis einen polnischen Empfänger an eine Art des Referenzschreibens.
Niniejsza praca magisterska miała na celu zbadanie niemieckiego świadectwa pracy w aspekcie rodzaju tekstu i poddanie go lingwistycznej analizie.W części teoretycznej pracy, w pierwszym rozdziale omówione zostało zagadnienie tekstu i wyjaśnione jego znaczenie zarówno z perspektywy językowej, jak również jego użycie i znaczenie w języku potocznym. Przedstawiono tam również najważniejsze, charakterystyczne dla każdego tekstu elementy oraz istotne funkcje językowe. Podobnie zbudowany jest drugi rozdział charakteryzujący pojęcie typu/gatunku tekstu, nie tylko w lingwistyce ale i jego znaczenie w języku mówionym. Ukazany został tam również podział i krótka charakterystyka poszczególnych klas rodzajów tekstu. Kolejne rozdziały części teoretycznej zawierają natomiast dokładną charakterystykę niemieckiego świadectwa pracy: jego struktury, formalnych aspektów wystawiania, treści, języka, w tym zjawiska ”ukrytego kodu” oraz rodzajów świadectw pracy.Część praktyczna zawiera językową analizę przykładowych niemieckich świadectw pracy, jak również porównanie niemieckiego świadectwa pracy z jego polskim odpowiednikiem. Po przeprowadzonej analizie można było stwierdzić, że niemieckie świadectwo pracy należy do grupy tekstów informacyjnych, spełniających funkcję informacyjną oraz reklamową. Jego główny temat stanowi osoba pracownika, dla którego owe świadectwo się wystawia. Najpopularniejszym rodzajem niemieckiego świadectwa pracy jest świadectwo kwalifikacyjne. Wszystkie analizowane świadectwa pracy spełniały pod względem ich struktury i treści standardowe wymagania, w każdym z nich można było również znaleźć typowe zwroty i sformułowania charakterystyczne dla tego gatunku tekstu. Zróżnicowana jest tutaj jednak ocena pracowników, a tym samym jakość świadectwa. Po porównaniu niemieckiego i polskiego świadectwa pracy dało się zauważyć, iż obydwa te teksty, mimo, że stanowią ten sam gatunek tekstu, to niewątpliwie różnią się między sobą. Polskie świadectwo pracy ma charakter czysto formalny, w pewnym stopniu można by je było porównać do niemieckiego zaświadczenia o pracy. Nie ma w nim miejsca na osobistą ocenę pracownika: jakości jego pracy, wywiązywania się z pełnionych obowiązków oraz zachowania w miejscu pracy. Niemieckie świadectwo pracy w swojej formie i brzmieniu polskiemu odbiorcy przypomina natomiast referencję.
