The ways of providing to parents some additional, scientific knowledge of upbringing children at elementary school

The aim of my thesis was knowing the parents’ opinions about the elementary school actions in area of sharing to parents scientific knowledge of upbringing children and also their needs connected with this aspect. I also focused on teachers’ opinions on school actions associated with this issue.Providing some extra information to parents in area of cooperation with school and student’s family home is a form of helping to family which lies in increasing the knowledge and developing parents’ pedagogical abilities.The thesis consists of three chapters. The first one explains the basic notions and describes some issues connected with school and family. There were also presented problems based on pedagogical aspects of upbringing children by their parents and researches that have been already done.The second chapter shows the methodology of my own researches. The main issue of this thesis was expressed in the following question: How is the process of expanding parents’ pedagogical abilities at elementry schools going? The researches were done at three elementary schools in the village using the method of diagnostic poll. There were also used different methods like a questionnaire, interview and document analysis.The third chapter was devoted to the presentation and result analysis of my own researches. There were also given the answers to the research problems.Those issues which were contained in this paper will help to organise effective and intresting process of expanding parents’ pedagogical abilities at elementry school.

Celem niniejszej pracy było poznanie opinii rodziców o działaniu szkoły podstawowej w zakresie pedagogizacji rodziców, a także ich potrzeb w tym aspekcie oraz poznanie opinii nauczycieli na temat działań szkoły związanych z pedagogizacją rodziców.Pedagogizacja rodziców, jako jeden z obszarów współpracy szkoły z domem rodzinnym ucznia, jest formą pomocy rodzinie polegającą na wzbogacaniu wiedzy i rozwijaniu umiejętności pedagogicznych rodziców.Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. W rozdziale I zostały wyjaśnione podstawowe pojęcia oraz omówione kwestie dotyczące szkoły i rodziny. Zaprezentowane zostały także zagadnienia dotyczące pedagogizacji rodziców oraz dotychczasowe badania w tym zakresie. W rozdziale II została przedstawiona metodologia badań własnych. Problem główny tej pracy został wyrażony w pytaniu: Jak przebiega proces pedagogizacji rodziców w szkołach podstawowych? Badania zostały przeprowadzone w trzech wiejskich szkołach podstawowych. W badaniach wykorzystana została metoda sondażu diagnostycznego. Zastosowane zostały takie techniki jak: ankieta, wywiad oraz analiza dokumentów. Rozdział III został poświęcony prezentacji i analizie wyników badań własnych. W rozdziale tym zostały udzielone odpowiedzi na postawione problemy badawcze. Treści zawarte w tej pracy umożliwią organizację efektywnej i interesującej pedagogizacji rodziców w szkole podstawowej.
