Omówiono nowoczesne sposoby realizacji płatności za transakcje dokonywane w Internecie wraz z ich analizą ilościową. Przedstawiono problemy ochrony informacji w transakcjach internetowych, oraz zdefiniowano obszary zabezpieczeń. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono najpopularniejszemu protokołowi SSL.

The importance of the Internet as an environment of many forms of transactions in today's economy is growing. The paper presents the characteristics of the Polish online stores, auction sites and online banking along with a detailed analysis of the market. Modern methods of– payments via Internet are discussed. The thesis refers to problems how information in online transactions should be protected and how security areas should be defined. Particular attention is paid to the most popular SSL protocol.
