The Situation and Welfare of the Slavic Communities in the North Caucasus from 1991 till 2011

Praca koncentruje się na przedstawieniu sytuacji ludności słowiańskiej w narodowych republikach Kaukazu Północnego w latach 1991 – 2011. Analizie poddane zostały ruchy migracyjne oraz przyczyny zmniejszenia się procentowego udziału Słowian w składzie etnicznym Dagestanu, Czeczenii, Inguszetii, Osetii Północnej, Kabardyno – Bałkarii, Karaczajo – Czerkiesji i Adygei.

The main point of this essay is to present the situation of the Slavic communities in People's Republics of Northern Caucasus between 1991-2011. The main criteria for the analysis were migrations of ethnic minorities and the main reasons for decreasing the percentage of Slavic ethnicities in Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia and Adygea.
