Tematem niniejszej pracy jest marionetka. W pierwszej części przybliżono historię marionetki – pochodzenie słowa, a także różne sposoby ujmowania figury lalki. Następnie przedstawiono teoretyków marionetki, a także jej symulakra. W drugiej natomiast, pokazano Ubu Króla jako marionetkę dzięki prawom estetycznym wyróżnionym przez R.-D. Bensky.

Dans notre mémoire de maîtrise nous analysons l’image de la marionnette. La première partie est consacrée à l’histoire de la marionnette. Nous évoquons l’origine du mot, les théoriciens de la marionnette et ses simulacres. Dans la deuxième nous nous penchons sur le personnage du drame jarryque- Ubu en tant qu'une marionnette, en analysant les différents aspects de la pièce et du protagoniste selon les lois esthétiques de la marionnette distingués par Roger Daniel Bensky.

The topic of this essay is the concept of marionette in art. The first part of work contains information about history of the marionette - ancestry of the word itself and various ways of usage. Theorist of marionette and its formula are introduced subsequently. In the second part Ubu the King is presented as marionette due to esthetic laws distinguish by Roger Daniel Bensky .
