Bezobjawowy przebieg karcenogenezy w początkowym stadium choroby, prowadzi do późnego rozpoznania procesu chorobowego.Celem pracy jest przedstawienie przypadku surowiczego raka jajnika u 53-letniej kobiety w aspekcie monitorowania kierunku rozwoju choroby przy użyciu pomiarów markera Ca 125.

The research on the development of methods improving the diagnostics process is essential issue concerning effectiveness of the therapeutic procedure. Ovarian cancer is one of the most common death causes among women affected by the neoplasm of female reproductive organs. Asymptomatic course of carcinogenesis in the early stages of the disease leads to delayed diagnosis of the cancer. The aim of the thesis is to present the case of the serous ovarian tumor in 53-aged patient in the aspect of monitoring the progress of the disease by measuring the level of tumor marker CA125.
