Magdalena Tulli "In red"- in search for the meaniing of life

Introduction to the thesis begins with philosophical and religious reflections on the meaning of life. The following of this discussion focuses on Polish literature after the year 89 '. In subsequent chapters the author in terms of issues concerning the search for meaning of life analyzes the book "In red" by Magdalena Tulli. The analysis begins with the place and time of action of the story. She then describes the symbolism of colors, and also how the "history" is understood in the discussed book, which in turn leads the author to reproduce the time history of individual heroes: Stefania, Kazimierz Krasnowolski and Felek Chmura. Later attempts to answer the questions what are his desires for a man, what role music, grotesque and absurd plays in the book. The analysis of the book ends with a reflection on the aesthetics of language, which it was written. In the end, we read a few sentences summarizing what is the meaning of life and if one can find it.

Wstęp do pracy licencjackiej rozpoczynają filozoficzne i religijne rozważania nad sensem życia. W dalszej części rozważania te skupiają się nad literaturą polską po roku 89’. W kolejnych rozdziałach autorka pod kątem zagadnienia dotyczącego poszukiwania sensu życia analizuje książkę Magdaleny Tulli „W czerwieni”. Analizę rozpoczyna od miejsca i czasu akcji fabuły. Następnie opisuje symbolikę kolorów, a także to, jak rozumiana jest „historia” w poruszanej książce, co z kolei prowadzi autorkę do momentu przytaczania indywidualnych historii bohaterów: Stefanii, Kazimierza Krasnowolskiego, Felka Chmury. Później stara się odpowiedzieć na pytania czym są dla człowieka jego pragnienia , jaką rolę odgrywa w książce muzyka oraz groteska i absurd. Analizę książki kończy refleksja nad estetyką języka, jakim została ona napisana. W zakończeniu czytamy parę zdań podsumowujących to, czym jest sens życia i czy można go znaleźć.
